Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing educates future beauty industry professionals in the disciplines they need to forge successful careers in this multimillion-dollar industry. Here, you’ll be challenged in courses such as Chemistry, Beauty Marketing for the Digital Age, and Fragrance Knowledge. You’ll learn how a beauty product is created, packaged, and brought to market. You’ll have the opportunity to create, evaluate, and design fragrance in FIT’s industry-standard Annette Green Fragrance Foundation Studio, the only fragrance laboratory on a college campus in the U.S. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to meet and work with industry experts and beauty influencers from every segment of the business, including color cosmetics, skin care, hair care, perfume, and home fragrances. You’ll graduate FIT with a well-rounded skill set in business, science, technology, and marketing, prepared to make your mark on the world of beauty.

Graduates pursue careers at major beauty marketing companies, fragrance oil suppliers, cosmetics retailers, independent brands, color cosmetics developers, and beauty product manufacturers. They work in product development, marketing, global brand management, sales, retail management, fragrance evaluation, social media, and editorial positions.
