Stylists are a vital link connecting concept, design, presentation, and finished product. To prepare students for a diverse range of careers available to stylists, this program emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, with courses in fashion and prop styling, trend forecasting, and design and art history, along with related areas like business development and merchandising. In the final semester, an internship course offers students hands-on experience to launch a successful career upon graduation.

CAREER OUTCOMES

Graduates work as trend forecasters, style editors, product development managers, wardrobe managers, and freelance stylists in industries such as fashion, publishing, theater, and television. Some graduates go on to master’s degree programs in fields such as visual culture and costume studies.
