BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS
SCHOOL OF ART AND DESIGN

As a student in one of the world’s leading  fashion design programs, you’ll create designs informed by market research and inspired by history, art, and culture. The AAS program provides a strong foundation in fashion design, including sketching, draping, patternmaking, and garment construction, culminating in a showcase of student work. In the BFA program, you choose a  concentration—Sportswear, Knitwear, Intimate Apparel, Special Occasion, or Children’s Wear—and build on your foundation with advanced technologies, computer-aided design, and presentation skills. You can tailor your studies through a variety of design electives. The program concludes with the creation of senior garments under the guidance of acclaimed designers who serve as industry critics.
